1. SOLAR ACCESS MODELLING & PRIVACY ISSUES
We computer model your building to show available solar access to your home or multi-unit development. Most planning guidelines require a minimum amount of winter sun to reach the living areas and Private Open Spaces of the new dwelling(s) as well as neighbouring houses.
Our solar access diagrams and Compliance spreadsheets will support your proposal to Council or the Land and Environment Court. The key is to test the solar access compliance early in the design process so that amendments to documentation are minimised. Accuracy is important so certified survey data to Australian Height Datum and accurate project drawings are required.

2. SHADOW PROJECTION AND DIAGRAMS
The same computer model can be used to generate plan shadow diagrams required for Development Applications.
The model can show existing and proposed shadows, existing shadows from trees, fences and other site features, and adjacent buildings. It also provides the flexibility to allow for design changes with quick regeneration of the shadows. We can also provide 3D views of wall faces showing shadows cast for any time, day or month
